One
of the first events the MSRA hosted was a cruise night. They invited 200
friends to meet at St. Paul's Midway Shopping Center parking lot.
After an impromptu car show some of the members cruised to a local theater
where the streets were filled with rods and customs as the film
"American Graffiti" let out. Imagine the shock of the
patrons leaving the theater to see the film come to life on the streets of
St. Paul! After several years the event was moved to the Minnesota
State Fairgrounds.
Back
To The 50s Weekend is attended by over 11,000 vehicles with more than
125,000 spectators making it the largest three day event of its kind in the
world.
We thank the following individuals for sharing their
"memories" of this great event for everyone to enjoy.
